Want to tour JGES this year? There have been requests from parents who would like to bring their children who are coming to JGES next year out for a tour. Congratulations to Charlotte Roberts, JGES 4th grade teacher, who is now one of only 12 finalists in Wake County for WCPSS Teacher of the Year! We are so proud of her and feel very fortunate that she represents all of the teachers at JGES!

Jeffreys Grove Elementary is pleased to offer a Spanish Immersion program beginning with kindergarten students in 2012-13. If you were unable to attend the first information session in April, please join us again, immediately following Kindergarten orientation on May 10 at 7:00. Applications for this program will be available until May 31.

JGES Global Peace Week March 26-29, 2012

Jeffreys Grove students learned peaceful ways to resolve conflict along with ways to become a global citizen. All Jeffreys Grove students formed a human peace sign as part of the week's activities. Click on the peace sign for more details about the week's events.

Registration for the 2012-13 school year began November 28, 2011. To register a rising kindergarten student or any student who is new to Wake County, please complete registration forms and bring them to our office between the hours of 9:00 and 3:00, along with:
proof of address (water, gas, electric bill, contract on the home, or lease agreement)
certified copy of your child's birth certificate
immunization record
parent photo identification
